BliGlad

BliGlad plays reggae with Danish vocals, with a tenacious lead vocal and a rhythm section with its musical roots set deep within the minimalistic universe of reggae.

The music is inspired by artists such as: Horace Andy, Eek-A-Mouse, Black Uhuru, Capleton and Burning Spear.

Lead vocalist Christopher McLaughlin is well known for his remarkable stage performance and vocals. This has made him sought after as a vocalist on the Danish reggae scene.
Benjamin is responsible for much of BliGlad's melodic input. He has a great influence on the groove with his odd keyboards and roots dub effects, made with the help of his Space Echo. He plays his offbeat as tight as tights.
Cyron is BliGlads energetic drummer. Besides drumming for BliGlad, Cyron has a career as an actor. The movies he has acted in include "Menneskedyret" and "2 Ryk Og En Aflevering." His talent for acting is reflecting in his drumming on stage.
Kristian is BliGlad's rock-solid bass player and is also responsible for BliGlad's artwork. He studied at Kolding design school and now works as a freelance illustrator and artist on various projects. He is, along with Christopher, BliGlad's main songwriter.
Max is the newest member of BliGlad. He recently spent 6 months in Cuba and 6 months in Ghana studying the roots of the music from which BliGlad's gets their inspiration. He adds tight backing vocals and percussion rhythms from south of the Equator.
As the guitarist, Daniel delivers the raw and minimalistic sound to BliGlad's compositions.

The demo consists of 4 songs + a dub arrangement by Dennis Ahlgren. It is hard reggae approaching ragga and dancehall at times while still keeping the happy spirit.
